Who We Are

The objective of the ISOE (Information System on Occupational Exposure) Program is to make available to the participants:

  • broad and regularly updated information on occupational exposure levels and trends at nuclear power plants and methods to improve the protection of workers; and

  • a mechanism for dissemination of information and exchange of experience on these issues, including evaluation and analysis of the data assembled, as a contribution to the optimization of radiation protection.

ISOE has established four Technical Centers including Europe, Asia, North America and Non-OCED countries.  The North American Technical Center is located in Illinois and is composed of participating Canadian, Mexican, and United States utilities and regulatory agencies.  This Charter is for the North American Technical Center of ISOE, NEA/IAEA, a not-for profit scientific organization.
