Gas Monitor Reading/Grab Sample Comparison
The comparison of radiation monitor readings to gas grab sample results should be a routine activity to verify correct monitor response. Acceptance criteria should consider both the error associated with radiation monitor response and the error associated with grab sample analysis. As required, monitor response can be corrected against isotopic mix to determine if the radiation monitor is functioning properly. |
